Effective from 14 October 2026
1. Who we are
Wisemore is a brand of Maryadi Group, a company that helps students apply to schools and universities abroad. This policy explains what personal data we collect through the website wisemore.org, why we collect it, how we store and protect it, and what rights you have. We process personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
2. Data controller
MARYADI LIMITED, trading as Maryadi Group (Wisemore brand), registered in England and Wales, company number 08655097. Registered office: c/o TaxAssist Accountants, 635 Bath Road, Burnham, Slough, Berkshire, SL1 6AE, United Kingdom

3. What data we collect
- Contact details: your name, email address and phone number, which you provide through the website form, messaging apps or email.
- Enquiry data: information about your educational goals, preferences and circumstances that you share with us, and the address of the page from which you sent the enquiry or opened WhatsApp, including any advertising parameters in the link that brought you to the site (for example, utm_source or a campaign number). We use them to understand which of our adverts and pages people contact us from.
- Service delivery data: educational documents, age, nationality and other information needed to prepare applications and documents. We request this only after you have decided to use one of our services.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request, which our web server and our content delivery network, Cloudflare, record automatically in technical logs.
4. How we use your data
- To respond to your enquiry and contact you by your preferred method.
- To provide the services you have ordered and keep records of them.
- To send documents to educational institutions on your behalf, where you have asked us to do so.
- To comply with our legal obligations.
- To keep the website running and secure, including protecting it against attacks and misuse.
5. Lawful bases for processing
- Steps before entering into a contract: when you submit an enquiry and ask us to contact you to discuss our services.
- Contract: where processing is necessary to enter into or perform a contract with you.
- Legitimate interests: where processing is necessary for the operation of our business and does not override your rights and interests.
6. Who we share your data with
We do not sell or rent out your personal data. We may share it with:
- educational institutions you are applying to, where you have asked us to do so;
- service providers that help us run our business: website hosting and the Cloudflare content delivery network, the Maryadi Group enquiry management service, email and messaging apps. They are required to keep your data confidential;
- public authorities where required by law or where necessary to protect our legal rights.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
The website itself does not set any cookies and does not use web analytics or advertising trackers. Our content delivery network, Cloudflare, may set a strictly necessary security cookie if it needs to check that a visitor is not an automated program. The site's fonts are served from our own server rather than from a third-party font service. If you choose a language using the language switcher, your browser saves that choice in its local storage (localStorage) on your device so that the site opens in that language next time. This information is not sent to us, and you can delete it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings. If we ever add analytics, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent.
8. How long we keep your data
We keep personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or for as long as the law requires. If an enquiry does not lead to a contract, we keep its details for up to 12 months after our last contact (in case you come back for the next intake) and then delete them. Client data is kept for as long as the contract and the law require. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
9. Your rights
Under the UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- obtain a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate or incomplete data rectified;
- request erasure of your data where there is no lawful reason for us to keep it;
- restrict processing in certain circumstances;
- receive your data in a structured format so that it can be transferred to another organisation;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests;
- withdraw your consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
To exercise your rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within one month.
10. Data security
We use technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. Data transmitted between your browser and the website is sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
11. Transfers outside the UK
Where we transfer personal data outside the UK, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with data protection law: we transfer it to countries that the UK recognises as providing an adequate level of protection, or we use the International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) or the UK Addendum to the EU standard contractual clauses.
12. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle your personal data, you can lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO): Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF; website ico.org.uk; phone 0303 123 1113.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any new version will be published on this page together with the date from which it takes effect.
